Bible Vs Cell Phone |
I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible or like we treat our
cell phones?
What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we turned back to go and get it if we forgot it?
What if we flipped through it several times a day?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we gave it to kids as gifts?
What if we used it as we travelled?
What if we used it in case of an emergency?
What if we upgraded it to get the latest version?
This is something to make you go...hmmm...where is my Bible?
Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't ever have to worry
about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill!

Thanks so much for your comments!!! As a student of the Bible I am well aware when I am not in the word-daily. My blogs are written to encourage women to get back into the Word. Keep up the good comments.

Very profound
A friend sent me a link about getting an electronic bible the size of a blackberry but I did not even bother to respond. Now if it were a phone, I probably would have. Sad but true. Our priorities to everything religious needs to be revalued.

I am extra guilty of this I use to carry my bible around (new testament though) I switched purses and that was it...I stopped but I am trying really hard right now to rekindle my love for God. I want to spark the fire between us.. it seems that's the only one I can run to. .. I will just pray 4 him to give me the gace to treat my bible and value it more than I do my hand set.
